My origins as a cook began when I was in elementary school. On Saturdays, I would always find myself playing with my family's supply of rice flour. I would try to replicate my grandma's cantonese golden yellow cupcakes and get many praises for it --even though they may be hard as a rock.
My love for cooking and baking derives from my mother who was is the biggest celebrity chef in my eyes. Her style of cantonese cooking has always pleased my Chinese American taste and it is my dream to show her style of cooking through the dishes I cook and bake.
